Will Glorfindel be in the Hobbit?

I've looked over the cast on IMDB, and he's not listed, but since
they've added quite a few more characters than were actually in the
Hobbit (or in Tolkien's original series at all), I was really hoping
they'd at least throw him in, since they gave his role to Arwen in the
Fellowship of the Ring . . .

I just wanted to know if you think Glorfindel would / should be in the
Hobbit, and if so, who should play him?
